For the first time in my life, I am able to shoot for the Sinulog Opening and of course, the Sinulog 2009 College Street Dancing.
Despite the low budget for Velez College, our Dance Troupe was able to come up with some presentable costumes, and I may say, our Festival Queen has the sexiest outfit. We would like to thank SSC for donating a couple of thousands for the Troupe. And of course, we fortunately were able to have our own ride going there with the top of the line: Kao Shiung Bus.
I know some of you may be laughing at our form of transportation, but mind you, the bus wasn't that hot and there was lots of space for everyone.
We arrived just in time for the mass to finish. And everyone was feeling quite nervous because the costumes of the other schools looked like they cost millions!
And here are the daring participants for the Velez College Sinulog Street Dancing group:

Okay, so maybe you might have a laugh at some of the answers here, I know I did.
But seriously, we can't be blaming them for having such answers, after all, they were nervous. So before you start condemning them for their answers, think of how this is very scary for them.
Arianna:
Q: What do you think are the qualities Ms. VC 2008, so posses?
A: I think that Ms. VC 2008 should posses the qualities: discipline, "will??" (I didn't fully hear what she said), and intelligence. What is beauty without brains? For it is our brains that make us better women and men.
Clair:
Q:What makes you think you are worthy of the title and the Crown?
A: I think I have the capacity to represent Velez and Ms. Velez 2008
Michelle:
Q:If crowned Ms. VC 2008, given a chance to change something in our school, what would that be?
A: We all know that VC curriculum and faculty is impressive... Renovation for the extension rooms.
(note: not all that is written here is accurate due to poor sound systems and loud audience)
Best answer of all? Michelle's.

Usually, photographers CAN and WILL sue the persons using the photographs without permission and without due credit, OR will ask for compensation in CASH.. But that situation only led to the birth of this site.

This blog was created on a December of 2008 as a mere whim of a Medical Technology student. He wanted to share his photos in the web and decided he make it more like a Newspaper type of setting and so The Cebu Velez College Times was born. But the Cebu Velez College Times is better known as Velez Times.
